The Goethe-Institut is known worldwide for promoting cultural exchange in the arts. Initiated in 2015 by the Goethe-Institut Kamerun, the “Goethe-Découverte” platform is a space of expression dedicated to artists. It aims to support young talent in Cameroon, facilitate dialogue between art professionals and cultural journalists, and arouse the interest of producers and broadcasters in selected young talent. The platform is open to the performing arts and other forms of artistic expression: visual arts, dance and performance, music (voice and sound), theater, spoken word (slam, storytelling, stand-up) and comics.
